What is my purpose?

I absolutely love Outlaw Star!!! I just now got to see this beautiful 90s master piece. Seriously, I just now saw this anime two weeks ago!!!! As soon as I started it I was all like “WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS!!!!”

I knew from the moment I saw Melfina I wanted to cosplay her. I had yet to decide what I wanted to bring for my final cosplay for A-kon 24 this year so Mel was a perfect choice. Melfina’s design seemed rather simple (and I had no intention of making the poncho thing) I sacrificed my Fang wig then gathered everything I needed for the costume. At the last second I decided I could make the poncho. I thought it was gonna be really simple, but it ended up being a pain. I was a derp and forgot to add the pink lining before putting the light blue trim on. So I ended up taking it apart to add the lining then while I was sewing the trim back on it magically became shorter!!!! Needless to say angry words were used...
The poncho ended up being my favorite part of the costume since I worked so hard on it. This was the first time I made my own pattern along with adding a lining!!!

In other news, I have received all of the pictures from the convention, but I am still in the middle of editing them.
I wanted to put something up while I work on the other pictures! So look forward to a slow dump of stuff!!!!!!!!
